Introducing The Jeep Renegade

The Jeep Renegade is a compact crossover SUV, manufactured by Stellantis under the illustrious Jeep brand. It made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014 and commenced production later that year in August. As of 2022, the Renegade holds the title as Jeep’s smallest vehicle offering, positioned beneath the Compass in their lineup. The vehicle’s underpinnings are based on the FCA Small Wide 4×4 platform, which it shares with several other FCA models from Fiat and Alfa Romeo.

The Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV that encapsulates the spirit of adventure. This brand-new model epitomizes the legendary 4×4 capability that Jeep is renowned for, while also offering a contemporary and functional interior that boasts generous space for both passengers and cargo. In addition, it provides an abundance of connectivity options for today’s tech-savvy drivers.

The Renegade comes in several distinct trim levels, including the Latitude, Altitude, (Red), Limited, and Trailhawk. Each one offers its unique configuration and choice of premium materials, giving you the ability to select a model that perfectly fits your style and needs.

Underneath its rugged exterior, the Jeep Renegade houses an efficient yet potent turbocharged engine, providing an impressive performance that sets it apart from other small SUVs. Moreover, its extensive array of advanced safety features and driver-assist technologies ensures not only a thrilling but also a secure and confident ride.

In essence, the Jeep Renegade goes beyond the standard expectations of a small SUV, offering more power, more safety, and more possibilities for your adventures.

The Renegade boasts standard front-wheel drive, complemented by optional Active Drive I and Active Drive Low four-wheel drive systems. Both these systems are integrated with Jeep’s Selec-Terrain System.

Marking a first for Jeep, the Renegade is the inaugural product to be produced exclusively outside North America. It has found homes in various global markets including North America, Europe, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Japan, and China. The Renegade is assembled in Melfi, Italy (known as BU/520), Goiana, Brazil (designated B1), and Guangzhou, China (codenamed BQ), where it shares production lines with the Fiat 500X and other models.

In its standard configuration, the Renegade offers front-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive available as an option on the Sport, Latitude, and Limited trims. In the US market, the Renegade is available in Sport, Latitude, and Limited trims, all of which offer a choice between front- and four-wheel drive. Additionally, there is the Trailhawk trim, which is exclusively four-wheel drive.

One of the standout features of the Renegade is the optional My Sky dual-panel removable roof. This innovative feature can either be retracted like a conventional sunroof or completely removed, offering an open-air driving experience reminiscent of the iconic Jeep Wrangler.
